The reinterpretation of iconic designs
The Les Estivales is centered around a strong concept : the reinterpretation of the most iconic Lepage jewelry from each collection, in an unprecedented version. At the origin of this exclusive collection, Françoise Lepage, a gem expert, fell in love with a batch of magnificent colored sapphires, rare and sought-after gems.
Their charming peachy and joyful hues making us think of summer, sunshine, floral and colorful dresses that we so much like to wear during the beautiful days, it seemed obvious to us to create a collection around this theme, and to propose creations that could accompany you throughout the beautiful season!

We decided for these pieces to take the most iconic designs from each of our existing collections, in order to offer new flagship jewelry. Selected gems
Colored sapphires, unique stones
Well known to the general public and used in jewelry for thousands of years, blue sapphire is no longer a thing to be introduced. But did you know that there are also yellow, orange, pink and even green sapphires? Indeed, these shades are found in nature, and are determined by the chemical elements in the composition of these gems, belonging to the corundum family. The presence of each element, (in random amounts depending on how the gems are formed, but also where they were formed on the planet), thus gives rise to sapphires with each color being unique.
For a green sapphire you will thus have hundreds of possible shades of green, ranging from almost blue to very light and almost translucent green, to vivid green and intense green.

The same is true of yellow sapphire, which can oscillate from pale yellow to almost orange, and pink sapphire, which can sometimes display a light pink color, sometimes a very deep pink. The rarest and most valuable of all these stones are the so-called Padparadscha sapphires, which come in salmon, pink-orange and orange-pink colors.

Santa Maria aquamarine, the most beautiful aquamarine
A bright blue to make the sky jealous, the aquamarines we use for our creations are all Santa Maria aquamarines, the finest quality you can find for these stones. Native to the Santa Maria Bay in Brazil, these aquamarines take their name from the Latin "aqua" and "marina", literally "sea water", due of course to their beautiful blue color.

As you can see, each stone in this collection is absolutely unique in its color. Indeed, this is the case for all the natural gems we use, but this notion is especially true regarding colored sapphires, with very varied hues for the same stone color.
