A bit of history

Tissot opens the doors to its past and takes us on a journey through time. More precisely, at the end of the 1960s, the time when standard watch shapes were reinvented for trendy colors and pop design. In 1978, the brand presented a collection with a tonneau case, a smooth round bezel and a quartz movement, all carefully integrated into a steel bracelet : the PRX. A few years later, Tissot registered the name PRX : "P R" for Precise and Robust and "X" or 10 in Roman numerals for the watch's water resistance to 10 ATM (10 bars or 100m).
