CBN2A1F.BA0643 is the first fruit of this exceptional collaboration. Launched in 1963, the Carrera is one of the first emblematic lines designed by Jack Heuer. Heuer had been captivated by a Mexican road race known as the Carrera Panamerica. He naturally chose this evocative name, which means "race", to enhance his racing chronograph with its sleek, highly legible design. The Carrera chronograph is one of the best known of the brand.

A closer look at the Carrera Porsche

Carrera is an emblematic name that has been associated with TAG Heuer and Porsche for generations, so it was natural to choose it for their first joint creation. Based on the sporty design of the TAG Heuer Carrera Sport Chronograph and its distinctive tachymeter scale engraved on the bezel, it features a large number of aesthetic features inspired by Porsche: Porsche lettering engraved on the bezel, Porsche font on the indexes, use of the Porsche colors red, black and gray, rotor redesigned in homage to Porsche's famous steering wheel, transparent case glass marked with the inscriptions "Porsche" and "TAG Heuer", asphalt effect on the dial...

Motor side

This new chronograph had to be fitted with an exceptional engine, and that's done with the use of the new in-house caliber. The Heuer 02 vertical clutch column-wheel chronograph movement has a power reserve of 80 hours. The well-balanced Tri-Compax arrangement of the subdials and the attention to detail brought to the asphalt gray dial and its finishing treasures are the reflection of the legendary partnership that this timepiece seals.

Every detail matters

The Carrera Porsche special edition is available in two versions. This Ref. CBN2A1F.BA0643 is equipped with a new steel bracelet with H-shaped links and folding clasp that reinforces its sporty character. This bracelet is thinner than its predecessor and has shorter lugs, which promises a very ergonomic wearing experience despite a diameter of 44 mm. The alternation of mirror polished and brushed finishes gives this TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche a very slender look. Finally, this special edition will be delivered to you in a custom-made box. The black box of the watch features the TAG Heuer and Porsche logos in white letters. You will find a travel case in black on the outside and red on the inside that perfectly reflects the spirit of Porsche.
