Panerai's "modern" history began in 1993 with the release of the Luminor Marina in 40 and 44mm, for the first time accessible to all and not only to the military. Yes but ... In 1950 when Panerai developed an extreme diver's watch for the Italian army, the beautiful watch was 47mm and its case was more rounded... 19 years later Panerai created a huge buzz when the PAM00372 was announced.

A piece that makes history

This Panerai PAM 372 marked a real turning point in the history of the House of Panerai by inaugurating a new case and the in-house caliber P.3000. This new case, entirely polished, has a cushion-shaped Radiomir case with small Luminor horns instead of wire handles. On the motor side, the mechanical hand-wound P.3000 caliber offers 72 hours of power reserve, two barrels and a large-diameter balance. Its matte black dial with sandwich construction is one of the most appreciated by Panerai enthusiasts for its pure design and fidelity to the Panerai tradition, and its patinated SuperLuminova disc is identical to that of the Radiomir Marina Militare PAM 339.

What you need to know

This article is in an excellent state of conservation. The vintage watch lovers that you are will also appreciate the large plexiglass chimney type glass, in perfect adequacy with the spirit of the watch. Plexiglas, more fragile than sapphire, gives a unique shine to the sandwich dial. The watch is delivered with its magnificent original bracelet and two other Panerai bracelets. Small traces to be noticed on the glass at 12 o'clock.

The package

This watch was put into circulation in February 2015. We have the original box which includes two other Panerai bracelets and a screwdriver to switch them. The warranty card and the user manual are also provided. This Panerai Luminor 1950 has been authenticated and tested by our watchmakers and therefore benefits from the Lepage Vintage 1 year warranty.
