The first Radiomir was created in 1938 for the Italian Royal Navy. At the time, this model was characterised by the structure of its case (47 mm), which guaranteed a high level of water resistance thanks to its winding crown and screwed back. This watch, intended for Italian combat swimmers, was equipped with movements supplied by Rolex and used Radiomir (hence its name). This luminescent varnish based on zinc sulfide, mesothorium and radium bromide gave maximum visibility to the dial.

This Panerai Ref. PAM00323 is distinguished by its cushion-shaped case and its diameter of 47 mm faithful to the original model. What really characterizes this model are its complications and in particular a fabulous 10-day power reserve! Its generous diameter is well compensated by the astonishing thinness of its case, which is water-resistant to 100 meters. The latter houses a mechanical self-winding caliber P. 2003/5, entirely made by Panerai. Like its ancestor, this Panerai PAM 323 is extremely easy to read and use.

What you should know

This piece is in an exemplary state of preservation, it is almost new from stock. The vintage watch lovers that you are will also appreciate the fact that its original strap has been very little used.

This piece was released in 2014. We have the original case which includes the original warranty card and instruction manual. This Panerai Radiomir has been authenticated and tested by our watchmakers and as such benefits from the Lepage Vintage 1 year warranty.
