This Moonwatch Professional is undoubtedly elitist. What is important to understand is that the new caliber 321 is a faithful reproduction of the original model made in a dedicated workshop. Its complete assembly is carried out by a single watchmaker, so we are very far from mass production. The rest of the timepiece had to be up to scratch and that is why Omega used an alloy of platinum and gold to magnify it. This alloy has a very particular color and its rendering is very different from that of steel. The handling of this beauty is captivating. Indeed the mass of the platinum gives an impressive weight and presence to this watch with a rather "wise" look. Its perfect black dial intrigues. It is quite normal since it is made of an Onyx plate. Its lacquered aspect wonderfully highlights the three counters made of real lunar meteorite fragments.
