The Geneva collection was introduced in 1953 by the Manufacture in Biel. With these models, Omega wanted to offer elegant references with a particularly luxurious finish and presentation, but at more competitive prices than the Omega Constellation line. These models used the same high quality movements as the other collections, but were priced more competitively in order to target a younger audience. Today, the watches from the Genève line allow collectors to acquire vintage models with a timeless design, charming us with their beautiful textured dials.

This Omega Genève has a crazy charm! This reference 131.019 has a 35 mm steel case in perfect condition that will fit all wrists, both feminine and masculine. The latter is topped by a curved plexiglass, which protects a beautiful silvered dial with sunray decoration. Its hands and baton hour markers are coated in pink gold. This model features a mechanical hand-wound movement, the calibre 601, which will stand the test of time for many decades to come. The calibre is known to vintage watch enthusiasts as one of Omega's finest 3-hand movements and was produced from 1962 to 1970. According to the serial number of the piece we are offering today, this watch was released in 1969.

This vintage Omega Genève model is a very beautiful, elegant and simple watch. The strap has been changed to a black imitation alligator leather strap. The buckle is not original.
