The Look

This watch, launched in 2009, is a Rolex Day-Date of modern design, the reference 118206 of 2005. Its 36 mm diameter case is made of platinum 950 ‰. This naturally white metal is very dense and very precious. Contrary to white gold, its hue will not change over time. Its dial is also breathtaking. Indeed, it is a slice of real rhodium-plated meteorite on which are arranged Arabic numerals and two cone-cut diamond indexes set with three very fine claws. The platinum President bracelet finishes to magnify this exceptional piece.

Caliber 3155

The Rolex 3155 caliber was introduced in 1988. This three-hand movement is equipped with a perpetual rotor and, above all, a day-date function. Like all Rolex movements, it is COSC certified and has a precision of -2/+2 seconds per day. In order to fit into a 36 mm case, it is made to be thin and smaller than many other calibers of the brand. It has a height of 6 mm and a diameter of 28.5 mm. Finally, it has a power reserve of 48 hours. The caliber 3155 is the successor of the caliber 3055. The movement has a quick date function and introduces a major improvement over the 3055, namely the possibility to adjust the day instantaneously.
