PREMIERE ORIGINAL EDITION

In 1987, the House of CHANEL set itself a major challenge: to invest in the already well-established world of watchmaking. Jacques Helleu, Artistic Director of the House, then succeeded in the feat of fashioning a jewelry watch that respected the House's codes. The PREMIÈRE EDITION ORIGINALE brings together a number of strong symbols that are part of the CHANEL DNA: the intertwined chain of the timeless 2.55 quilted handbag, a black dial, Gabrielle Chanel's favorite color, as well as the octagonal design of the No. 5 perfume bottle stopper and that of the Place Vendôme. Now reissued, this iconic model is revealed in a version where the case and bracelet are adorned with 750 thousandths yellow gold to affirm its position as a Première.
