For the Little Story

Among fancy-cut diamonds, we find the Pear, the true queen of stones. Its shape is similar to that of a half-brilliant stuck to a half-marquise. An elegant cut with great charm and brilliance, the pear can be used as a pendant, engagement ring or wedding ring by aligning the stones one behind the other. When creating a wedding ring, our gemologists spend a great deal of time selecting each diamond. Indeed, in order to be presented together, the diamonds must have exactly the same shape in order to reproduce the desired river-of-light look on the finger.

The diamonds line up, carried by the 18k white gold. With the Margaux Wedding Ring, we chose to work the very feminine Pear cut that gives this jewel all its softness. Delicately held in a three-prong setting, each stone rests in a cradle, with the tips of the diamonds protected by a delicate arrow-shaped prong that hugs the shape of the stone, and the chunkier side of the stone held in place by two discreet pearl-shaped prongs. Each stone reveals its brilliance and radiates with power. The Margaux wedding ring is an exceptional piece of jewellery, entirely hand-crafted using the finest jewellery-making techniques.
