In any case, Ernest is no ordinary gem. Its strength? It's those pretty differences that make him so fascinating. Its retro influences are noticeable and give it that special distinction. The diamond is available here in two cuts: oval for the center stone and baguette for the flanking stones. Elegant above all else, Ernest makes the most of its contrasts.

A little history
To preserve the whiteness of the white gold, each piece is immersed in a rhodium bath, an operation known as "rhodium plating", which consists of electrolytically depositing a thin layer of rhodium on the surface of the jewelry. Rhodium is a rare, silvery-white, very hard and corrosion-resistant metal, mainly used as an alloying element for platinum.

Designed in our workshops, the Ernest engagement ring plays on contrasts thanks to a mix of shapes. Its basket-shaped bezel serves as a base for the oval-cut diamond, held in place by four white gold claws. On either side, two baguette-cut diamonds are set directly on the setting in cradle-like notches. With an unexpected harmony, the straight lines of the baguettes contrast with the rounded curves of the oval diamond. And what's more, the light plays very differently with the facets of these two different cuts of stone, so you can expect the most beautiful of shows!
