• A minimum F SI quality diamond carefully selected by our gemologists in Antwerpen
• Central diamond: approximately 0.10 carat for diameter 3 mm; 0.20 carat for 3.7 mm; 3.30 carat for 4.3 mm; 0.40 carat for 4.7 mm
• Surrounded with brilliant-cut diamonds of approximately 0.3 carat

For the Little Story

Extraordinary, the Shah diamond - weighing 95 carats, owes its fame to the inscriptions on three of its facets. The first dates from 1591, the second from 1651 and the third from 1824. All three inscriptions refer to the names of princes, probably the successive owners of the stone. Engraved very clearly, the mystery surrounding these inscriptions is complete: to this day, we still don't know what technique was used to make them.

Jewellers' words

The rose gold setting reveals a basket-shaped bezel that carries the brilliant-cut diamond. The 4 claws of the setting enclose the central stone, whose brilliance is enhanced by 8 diamonds set in rose gold. With the Aristide engagement ring, we wanted to showcase diamonds in a gentle and simple way. To achieve this, we created a discreet setting with a pleasant retro feel.
