The Aristide engagement ring in white gold and diamonds
Between lightness and softness, Aristide dazzles us with its freshness! Because it shows simplicity while embracing its retro feel this engagement ring is naturally elegant. A little dreamy, a little bohemian, we love it for what it inspires in us: memories of moments of pure happiness!
For the Little Story
In 1700, the diamond named the Regent, weighing 410 carats, was discovered in India. Purchased by William Pitt and cut as a brilliant cushion of 140.50 carats in 1717, it became a crown jewel. Stolen and then recovered in 1792, it adorned the hilt of Napoleon's sword. During her exile, Marie-Louise took it to Austria, where it was returned by the Austrians. In 1940, the Regent was hidden under a slab in the Château de Chambord. After the liberation, it returned to Paris, where it can still be admired in the Apollon gallery.
Jeweller's words
Simple and discreet, we designed the white gold setting of the Aristide engagement ring with the aim of giving it a little retro feel. The bezel is shaped like a pretty basket and welcomes a magnificent brilliant-cut diamond. Set between 4 claws, the indomitable stone reveals itself to the eye, while 8 small diamonds enhance its brilliance. The uniqueness of this creation lies in the way the precious gem is magnified.
