Offered to Louis XIV, the Hope disappeared in 1792 and reappeared in 1830 with banker Henry Thomas Hope. As with all the pieces in the Les Coquettes collection, we used the grain-setting technique to attach the diamonds to the yellow gold setting of our Première Dame engagement ring. This type of setting allows us to emphasise its pretty double setting. Truly illuminating the central diamond, the two rings of the body separate to better join, thus forming one.
