For the Little Story

The first written trace of diamonds dates back to the discovery in the 4th century BC of a Hindu manuscript, the Artha-Castra, a sort of tax code on precious stones that mentions the characteristics of a gem that seems to correspond well to diamonds. A jeweller's word

On this one-piece V-shaped bezel, each claw is hollowed out with a scoop to form a notch that holds the stone securely in its cradle. These claws are then delicately folded over the diamond and filed to obtain a perfect ball setting.
