For the Little Story

The cutting technique invented in 1476 by Louis de Berquem is so effective that it is still the only one used to this day. Even today, diamonds are cut using iron discs and a grinding wheel coated with oil and diamond powder (obtained by rubbing two diamonds together). Diamond cutters in Antwerpen are always called by their first name, followed by their place of origin. This tradition is unique to the diamond sector.
