Directly inspired by the very stylish TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 chronograph, here is the TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 02 tourbillon, a COSC-certified automatic chronograph with a flying tourbillon in titanium and carbon !

The DNA of a chronograph

The grail of horological complications is offered here at a price level never before achieved. Indeed, this Carrera Heuer 02 tourbillon combines technology, a high level of quality, performance, manufacturing know-how and perfect control of industrial processes. The development of this watch has been directly drawn from the DNA of the CH-80 chronograph to interpret two of the most famous complications in watchmaking, namely the chronograph, a Tag Heuer speciality if ever there was one, and the tourbillon.

Let's get to know each other

The titanium case of this chronograph houses a lightweight tourbillon handcrafted by four watchmakers. The central parts of the tourbillon are made of titanium and the top of carbon. It has a beautiful power reserve of over 65 hours. The assembly and adjustment of this marvel was done by hand. While most of the components were machined in the TAG Heuer workshops, the balance spring at the heart of the tourbillon was produced by Swiss company Atokalpa. Each piece was subjected to 21 days of testing and each Heuer 02 tourbillon movement is certified by the COSC.

In brief

The case of this exceptional timepiece is made of grade 5 titanium, which ensures lightness and greater resistance to shocks. This masterpiece is completed by a black alligator strap sewn on rubber, which gives it a sporty and racy look.
