Constellation is a line steeped in history, designed for those who admire the precision and heritage of Swiss watchmaking. First introduced in 1952, the first models paid tribute to the many successes achieved by the Biel-based Manufacture in the early 20th century thanks to its unparalleled precision, including world records and victories in competitions organized by the observatories of Kew-Teddington, Neuchâtel and Geneva. Today, the Constellation offers an extensive collection of sporty-chic watches with refined design and perfect proportions. Each watch has a vintage touch and a caliber with advanced mechanical features. The collection is available in over 400 different models for men and women. Lovers of its distinctive style will be able to choose from a wide range of high quality materials, such as stainless steel, gold and Omega's signature alloys. Available in cases ranging from 25 to 41 mm in diameter, the timeless Constellation is suitable for all occasions and can be worn on a leather or metal bracelet.
A design born in the 1980s
The Constellation's design has evolved over time, until the release of the Constellation Manhattan in 1982. Since then, the Constellation's design has evolved into what it is today. Each model features the iconic four-pronged bezel, half-moon facets, Roman numerals and gold star.
Very high precision calibers
Most of the models in the men's collection are powered by the METAS-certified movement, which is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The 41 mm models feature the Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8900 or 8901. The 39 mm and 36 mm Master Chronometer models feature the 8800 or 8801 caliber. As for the women's models, most are powered by an Omega Quartz caliber.
