During the Five Deeps expedition in 2019, the Ultra Deep made history by descending to the deepest point on Earth, accompanying explorer Victor Vescovo at the controls of his submarine, on a mission to explore the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The depth reached was 10,928 meters, a record! After this dive, the watch that changed the game was adapted into a unique collection for the general public. Tested in real ocean conditions during its conception, the design is waterproof to a depth of 6,000 meters and complies with the ISO 6425:2018 saturation diving watch standard.
A Co-Axial calibre
The watches in the Ultra Deep collection are all powered by the Omega caliber 8912, a self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Certified Master Chronometer and approved by METAS, this watch offers a power reserve of 60 hours, a precision between 0 and +5 seconds per day and a resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
