Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 XP TT automatic skeleton dial titanium bracelet 41 mm
- NEW
Extra-thin, skeletonized and made entirely of titanium, the Alpine Eagle XP TT is a radically contemporary interpretation of Chopard's iconic style. An exceptional watch, powered by an L.U.C caliber with visible micro-rotor, that combines elegance, technical mastery and extreme comfort.
The Alpine Eagle XP TT: the quintessence of Alpine Eagle style, in an ultra-thin silhouette
With the reference 298630-3001, Chopard offers a masterful reinterpretation of its iconic Alpine Eagle. This XP TT version - for Extra-Thin Titanium - is distinguished by an extremely refined design, a choice of noble and technical materials, and an exceptional mechanical motorization.
While retaining the strong identity of the Alpine Eagle collection, this timepiece stands out as a resolutely contemporary and refined insider piece, where every detail reflects a demanding and innovative watchmaking vision.
A sharp, balanced design, sculpted for the most exacting standards
The aesthetics of the Alpine Eagle XP TT are a true statement of contemporary watchmaking style, where every line, every material, every proportion is designed for harmony. What is immediately striking is the balance between the visual power of the case and the exceptional slenderness of its silhouette, made possible by its ultra-thin architecture.
The 41 mm case, made entirely of grade 5 titanium, displays beautiful finishes, with satin and polished surfaces. The total thickness - only 8 mm - places this watch in the category of ultra-refined pieces, rare in the world of sport-chic.
But the element that visually and structurally defines this watch is its integrated bracelet. Directly extending from the case without classic horns, it hugs the wrist perfectly and forms a continuous flow of material. It is crafted from the same grade 5 titanium, alternating satin-finished links and polished details for a discreet yet sophisticated play of textures.
This bracelet, with its astonishing suppleness, is one with the case: it is the signature of the Alpine Eagle DNA, recalling the purity of 70s/80s designs while adopting a resolutely modern language. Both aesthetic and ergonomic, it offers exceptional comfort, a “second skin” sensation, amplified by the natural lightness of titanium.
Despite its extreme thinness, the watch fully retains the DNA of the Alpine Eagle collection, with its round bezel screwed by eight aligned screws and its crown engraved with the wind rose, symbols of its alpine roots and its architectural precision.
Finally, it is indeed its skeleton dial that makes it a totally unique watch.
Here, there is no traditional plate or solid dial: the watch is open to reveal its movement, finely perforated to reveal the entire internal structure of the caliber.
The bridges are machined and chamfered to create a play of transparency, depth and light that is both technical and highly aesthetic. The whole is subtly anthracite, with a dark gray galvanic treatment, perfectly in tune with the stealthy appearance of titanium.
The applied baton hands and hour-markers are filled with Super-LumiNova®, ensuring perfect readability despite the openworked structure.
L.U.C Calibre 96.17-S1: skeleton, micro-rotor, ultra-thin
The heart of this Alpine Eagle XP TT beats to the rhythm of the L.U.C Calibre 96.17-S1, the very first skeleton movement ever developed by the Chopard L.U.C Manufacture. A true masterpiece of miniaturization, this ultra-thin automatic micro-rotor caliber is only 3.30 mm thick, and yet manages to combine openwork architecture, micro-rotor movement, and high power reserve.
Its secret lies in the exclusive Twin Technology patented by Chopard: two coaxially mounted barrels that enable an exceptional 65-hour power reserve to be achieved without altering the slenderness of the movement. The off-center 22-carat gold micro-rotor ensures efficient and elegant automatic winding, while leaving the rest of the caliber visible.
In terms of aesthetics, the effect is striking: nothing is hidden. Thanks to a meticulously openworked design, each component of the caliber is visible - from the finest screw to the time-setting pull-out piece, including the gears, levers and springs. No dial, no solid plate obscures the spectacle: the entire movement is open, legible, alive.
The rhodium-black treated bridges and plate create a superb contrast with the golden wheels, offering a fascinating visual depth. This play of light and shadow sublimates each mechanical beat and transforms the slightest movement into a perfectly orchestrated horological choreography.
