Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 Cadence 8HF automatic black dial titanium bracelet 41 mm
- NEW
Radically modern, incredibly light, and powered by a rare high-frequency caliber, this Alpine Eagle Cadence 8HF is an extraordinary creation. A timepiece for discerning collectors, beating at 57,600 vibrations per hour!
Cadence 8HF: high frequency in its most elegant form
With this Cadence 8HF version, the Alpine Eagle collection reaches new heights in watchmaking performance and contemporary design. Chopard, true to its tradition of innovation, offers a mechanical watch with a very high frequency (8 Hz), a rarity in the traditional Swiss watchmaking landscape. This exclusive caliber is housed in a watch with a sober, refined, yet resolutely powerful aesthetic.
Reference 298600-3020, this Alpine Eagle stands out not only for its exceptional movement, but also for its case made entirely of grade 5 titanium, a material as technical as it is symbolic in the world of high-performance watches. Light, resistant, stealthy: this watch is aimed at discerning enthusiasts who know how to recognize the exceptional.
A stealthy design with an assertive personality
The Chopard Alpine Eagle Cadence 8HF retains the key aesthetic features of the Alpine Eagle collection:
- 41 mm round case
- Bezel screwed down with eight screws in a specific direction
- Integrated bracelet with graduated links
- Crown engraved with a compass rose
But in this version, everything has been redesigned to reflect the technical sophistication and uniqueness of the model.
The grade 5 titanium used here gives it a matte gray hue, slightly warm, very different from the brilliant shine of the Lucent Steel A223. The result is a much lighter watch (about 90 grams), but also more discreet, more “stealthy”, with a unique feel when worn.
The deep black dial, subtly textured with a radiating pattern inspired by the iris of the eagle, remains faithful to the Alpine Eagle identity. The faceted hour-markers and dauphine hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® to ensure perfect legibility, even in low light conditions. A date window is integrated at 4.30, providing functionality without upsetting the aesthetics.
The heart of the watch: the Chopard 01.12-C caliber at 8 Hz
This is where the Cadence 8HF enters a category of its own.
It is equipped with the Chopard 01.12-C caliber, a high-frequency automatic movement oscillating at 8 Hz, or 57,600 vibrations per hour (compared to 28,800 for a standard caliber). Very few brands are capable of developing and producing this type of movement on a large scale.
Advantages of this extreme cadence:
- Superior chronometric stability
- Better shock resistance
- Smoother and more accurate time measurement
- Increased escapement reactivity
Despite this high frequency, the movement offers a comfortable 60-hour power reserve, thanks to optimized architecture. It is chronometer-certified by the COSC, proof of its precision.
Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the caliber is identifiable by the bright red “8HF” engraving on one of the bridges - a rare technical signature, recognizable among connoisseurs.
A distillation of technology and watchmaking expertise
Developed in-house by Chopard Manufacture, the Cadence 8HF demonstrates the company's ability to innovate in depth while respecting traditional aesthetic codes. The introduction of this caliber required years of development, particularly in terms of the high-frequency escapement, its lubrication, its materials and its energy management.
The result? An exceptional watch on every level: mechanical, aesthetic, technical and emotional.
An innovative watch, but one that remains true to Chopard's ethics
Even at this level of demand, Chopard remains true to its commitment to responsible luxury. The titanium used is grade 5, the most noble and resistant, and the entire manufacturing process - from the caliber to the assembly - is carried out in the company's Swiss workshops, according to the highest standards.
The spirit of the “Journey to Sustainable Luxury” remains present, even in this radical model.
