The Tudor Black Bay Pro stands out for its ability to display two time zones simultaneously, a valuable feature for modern explorers. The reference time is indicated by an angular yellow “Snowflake” hand, Tudor's signature design since 1969, which makes one revolution of the dial every 24 hours. To indicate the local time, a second shorter “Snowflake” hand is used, adjustable in jumps of one hour forwards or backwards.

A remarkable feature of this model is the date display, located in a window at 3 o'clock. Coupled with the jumping hour hand, the date automatically jumps back to the previous day when set retrograde to midnight. This rare and sophisticated feature ensures ease of use for travelers.

Rather than add an additional module, the brand has opted for an evolutionary architecture, thus guaranteeing increased robustness and exemplary reliability.

This movement is chronometer-certified by the COSC, with a guaranteed precision of -2 to +4 seconds per day, well above the usual watchmaking standards. The 70-hour power reserve means you can take off the watch on Friday evening and put it back on Monday morning without winding it.

The construction of the caliber is designed for longevity and precision, with a variable inertia balance maintained by a solid traversing bridge with a double anchor point. The silicon balance spring protects the movement from magnetic interference, thus ensuring unfailing reliability. The frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz) ensures smooth display of seconds, while the GMT function allows simultaneous display of local time and a 24-hour reference time.
