The Tudor Black Bay 58 takes its name from the year in which the first TUDOR divers' watch waterproof to 200 meters (660 ft), reference 7924, nicknamed “Big Crown”, was introduced. With its 39 mm steel case, the Black Bay 58 retains the historic proportions that emerged at the end of the 1950s. This new version is fully in line with the brand's iconic aesthetic, while incorporating distinctive elements of a TUDOR prototype from the 1990s, reference 79190. This prototype, never produced at the time, was characterized by a burgundy dial with a satin finish and a matching bezel. Today, this heritage is revived through this new Black Bay 58, while bringing modern improvements and Master Chronometer certified performance. The watch is thus fully assembled and tested by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS), guaranteeing some of the highest watchmaking standards.

The Black Bay 58 Bordeaux is immediately recognizable by its slightly domed sunburst satin-brushed dial, which captures the light with a subtle brilliance.
