To celebrate its 15th anniversary, Ressence unveils an exclusive edition of its first tool-watch with an integrated bracelet: the TYPE 7 XV Aquamarine. Limited to 80 pieces, this version embodies the perfect fusion of avant-garde design, innovative watchmaking engineering, and a captivating aquatic aesthetic.

Since its creation, Ressence has always refused to follow traditional watchmaking conventions, adopting a resolutely modern approach to timekeeping. The TYPE 7 XV Aquamarine follows this path by combining exceptional readability, optimal ergonomics, and intelligent complications.

A luminous blue and an iconic design

The TYPE 7 XV Aquamarine immediately stands out with its vibrant aquamarine blue dial, inspired by ocean depths and capturing light from every angle. Its Grade 5 titanium case, measuring 41 mm in diameter and 14 mm in thickness, perfectly conforms to the wrist, ensuring absolute comfort thanks to its integrated titanium bracelet.

Unlike the Night Blue version, this limited edition features a fixed aluminum bezel, a surprising choice that allows for precise reproduction of the Aquamarine hue. Combined with the polished and brushed finishes of the case, this watch strikes a subtle balance between modernity and refinement.

Its titanium bracelet with screwed links integrates a clasp with five micro-adjustment positions, ensuring a personalized fit and unmatched ergonomics.

An oil-filled dial for perfect readability

Like Ressence’s iconic creations, the TYPE 7 XV Aquamarine pushes the limits of readability with its convex oil-filled dial. This innovative technology eliminates all light refraction, creating the illusion that the markings float directly under the sapphire crystal.

The display is based on the patented ROCS 7 (Ressence Orbital Convex System), where perpetually rotating sub-dials replace traditional hands, providing a smooth and intuitive reading of time.

In addition to hours and minutes, this limited edition incorporates a GMT function, allowing the wearer to track a second time zone. The adjustment is simple via the case back, which rotates to set the GMT display in one-hour increments.

A hybrid movement combining mechanics and technology

Beneath its refined aesthetics, the TYPE 7 XV Aquamarine houses a sophisticated mechanical caliber, based on a heavily modified ETA 2824. Housed in a lower chamber filled with air, it is connected to the dial via a magnetic transmission system, seamlessly animating the ROCS display discs.

A distinctive feature of this version is its redesigned oil temperature indicator, now displayed beneath the hour dial. This system automatically adjusts internal pressure via a compensating bellows system, ensuring optimal performance in all conditions.

The automatic movement offers a 36-hour power reserve, while the oil-filled architecture reduces friction and optimizes energy efficiency.

A tool-watch designed for adventure

Inspired by the TYPE 5 diving watch, the TYPE 7 XV Aquamarine features the Ressence Compression Lock System (RCLS), allowing the user to switch between two modes:

• Open mode: enables time setting and manual winding.
• Lock mode: secures the case and ensures 50-meter (5 ATM) water resistance.
