A typical 1960s model!

This model, inspired by the iconic Skin-Divers of the 1960s, combines retro aesthetics with modern performance. Its slightly sandblasted matte black dial, typical of diver's watches from this era, features oversized Arabic numerals and rectangular “eggshell” colored indexes, all coated with Super-LumiNova Grade A for optimal legibility in all circumstances. The “Broad Arrow” hands, characteristic of diver's watches of the period, are also coated with Super-LumiNova, with a second hand featuring a luminescent rectangle for enhanced visibility.

The 316L stainless steel case, with its brushed finish and prominent crown guard, is inspired by “Monnin” cases, while offering robustness and water resistance (200m) suited to modern divers. It also features a prominent crown guard with oversized polished chamfers that create luminous, high-contrast edges highlighting the transition between surfaces while adding depth and dimension to the case. The caseback, adorned with the historic Yema coat of arms, and the double-domed sapphire crystal, which accentuates the watch's vintage look, testify to the attention paid to detail. Rounded, wide lugs and the absence of sharp bevels ensure optimum comfort when worn.

A “Grains de riz” steel bracelet

The 316L stainless steel bracelet of this watch is distinguished by its “grains of rice” design. The central links, slightly rounded and tightly packed together, create a distinctive pattern reminiscent of the shape of grains of rice, hence the name. This bracelet combines comfort and security thanks to its double safety buckle and diving extension. The latter allows quick and easy adjustment of the bracelet, even over a wetsuit, offering appreciable versatility for aquatic activities.

In-house caliber: YEMA 2000

The YEMA2000 in-house caliber represents the second generation of movements designed by the prestigious French watchmaking house Yema. This bi-directional self-winding caliber, the fruit of meticulous engineering, stands out for its optimized performance. With 29 jewels, a balance frequency of 4Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) and a 42-hour power reserve, the YEMA2000 offers remarkable precision, with a daily drift of +/- 10 seconds and a maximum drift of +/- 25 seconds. It features hour, minute and central seconds functions. The stop-second device and automatic ball-bearing winder offer excellent reliability. Designed for long-lasting performance, the YEMA2000 is set in 4 positions (DU, 6H, 9H, 3H), ensuring consistent precision in a variety of conditions.
