Presentation

Born of a family tribute and shaped by Frank Huyghe's vision, the Académie is much more than just a watch. Inspired by a watch that belonged to the founder's grandfather, it embodies a modern reinterpretation of the timeless design of the 50s and 60s. Its round, curved lines, as sensual as they are comfortable, make it both an aesthetic and tactile object. The choice of “glass box” glass gives Royale a singular elegance, while ensuring excellent legibility. Far from the usual RALF TECH codes, this model testifies to the brand's willingness to explore new aesthetic avenues, without relinquishing its high standards of quality and finish.

The watch we present here is a “Royale” version, recognizable by its lacquered navy blue dial. Inspired by the world of the Aéronavale, it takes the codes of the French Navy and modernizes them. It features a fully polished 41 mm-diameter case and a vintage gold calfskin strap with pin buckle. What we love most about this model, limited to 100 pieces, are its steel indexes applied with vintage SuperLuminova, echoing the concept of a 1960s watch with a patina.

Finally, this watch is powered by an automatic “RTA003” caliber, based on a SEIKO movement. Reliable, it offers up to 44 hours of power reserve.
