A legend since 1993
1993 is undoubtedly one of Omega's most important dates: the launch of the very first Seamaster Diver 300M on the market! The launch marked Omega's triumphant return to diving watches and proved that the brand's ingenuity was more alive than ever. Positioned at the time as a refined, luxurious diver's watch, it broke with the design language of the Seamaster 300 and 600 of previous decades, showing a revolution of sorts. Indeed, the changes and developments of the 1990s inspired new designs and propelled the brand into the spotlight. The chronograph version was even named Watch of the Year in 1994! The launch of the Seamaster Diver 300M also coincided with the brand's new marketing strategy in the 1990s, aimed at breaking records and becoming a true icon, bringing Omega into the modern era with a vision full of fervor. As soon as it was launched, it accompanied Frenchman Roland Specker to a depth of 80 meters, setting the world record for freshwater free diving. In 1995, it marked a close relationship with the world of sailing when Sir Peter Blake, along with several sailors from the New Zealand team, wore the diver during their unforgettable victory in the America's Cup. But it was the film GoldenEye that really propelled this watch to iconic status! For the first time, James Bond wears a Diver 300M on his wrist!
A “Titanium & Bronze Gold”
version
For 2024, the collection continues its intrepid heritage with a new series of models, offering a variety of choices in different styles. As part of the launch of this latest OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M collection, a new edition is now unveiled in Grade 2 titanium and Bronze Gold. These two new “special” models, follow on from the steel versions recently launched by the brand and offer enthusiasts another distinctive choice within the “steel” range.
This new Diver 300M series moves away from the familiar ceramic styling of recent years and is instead inspired by the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, worn in the James Bond film, No Time to Die. It features the same domed sapphire crystal, giving it a vintage aesthetic, as does the green aluminum dial.

The 42 mm satin-finish case is made of grade 2 titanium, renowned for its lightness, corrosion resistance, biochemical inertness and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. That's why this material is often used in the aerospace industry. Perfect for adventurers and sportsmen alike, it offers a dark gray color that lends itself naturally to a brushed finish.
In a captivating contrast, OMEGA's exclusive Bronze Gold alloy is used for the bezel, crown, helium valve and PVD coating on the hands. This unique alloy has been designed to retain its natural patina over time, without turning green through oxidation of the layers. In addition to offering a long-lasting pink hue, it is nickel-free, making it anti-allergic, and iron-free, improving magnetic resistance.
The combination of these two materials is complemented by the use of green aluminum. This applies to the dial, with blackened indexes filled with vintage Super-LumiNova, and the bezel ring in oxalic anodized aluminum, with its diving scale also in vintage Super-LumiNova. The dial is flanked by skeleton hour and minute hands and a lollipop seconds hand. What we love about this version is that it doesn't feature a date, for perfect symmetry!
This watch comes with an integrated green rubber strap with folding clasp.
An Omega caliber 8806
This Diver 300M is powered by an Omega 8806 manufacture self-winding movement, visible through its sapphire caseback. Equipped with a Co-Axial escapement, it delivers excellent performance while offering a well-balanced watch for everyday use. In fact, the movement and watch have been tested in accordance with the METAS-approved Master Chronometer certification procedure, guaranteeing the watch's accuracy between 0 and +5 seconds per day. The caliber is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss, so you don't have to worry about the electronic equipment that surrounds us every day. The racketless balance wheel with silicon balance spring beats at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations, a standard frequency providing 55 hours of power reserve.
