The pitch

Long associated with motorsport, TAG Heuer continues to cultivate its heritage with its famous Carrera and Monaco collections. Launched in 1969, the Monaco collection is one of the most iconic chronograph watches in watchmaking history, and has even been a breeding ground for innovation in recent years. TAG Heuer recently introduced a “Haute Horlogerie” version of this collection, featuring the queen of chronograph complications: the Rattrapante. In the run-up to the Las Vegas 2024 Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Manufacture, unsurprisingly, presents a new version of its Monaco Skeleton chronograph: “The Pink”. Get ready, because it tells a story! When the sun sets over the dazzling Las Vegas horizon, illuminating the famous Strip in a kaleidoscope of colors, the essence of the city comes alive. It's a place of excitement and play, where the pulse of life beats to the rhythm of excitement and adventure. To celebrate this energetic atmosphere, TAG Heuer is proud to present this iteration of the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph.

Monaco Skeleton: An “avant-garde” version of its icon

Presented in 2023 on the occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix, the “Monaco Skeleton” line marked TAG Heuer's first attempt to offer an openworked version of its iconic square chronograph in the classic collection. There are mainly three models: the Turquoise, the Racing Red and the Original Blue.

The overall design of the case is identical to that of all the models: we find the 39 mm x 39 mm diameter square, here crafted in grade 2 titanium with a sandblasted finish. For this new edition, the case has been coated with black DLC, including the crown (at 3 o'clock) and the rectangular pushers, a nice nod to the “Dark Lord” model! The watch retains its beveled sapphire crystal on top and 100-meter water resistance.

“The Pink”

This breathtaking timepiece tells a story that unfolds with each tick of the chronograph. The bright pink skeleton dial is a celebration of color, reflecting the lively atmosphere of Las Vegas and its iconic lights. Under the hood

TAG Heuer has chosen to power this watch with Manufacture Calibre TH20-00. This automatic manufacture chronograph movement, developed and produced by TAG Heuer, incorporates 168 components, including a column wheel and a vertical clutch. Precise and reliable, this new caliber beats at a frequency of 4 Hz and has a power reserve of 80 hours, the legend has more than one (circuit) turn in its box!
