A return to the roots

Since its creation in 1988, the Frédérique Constant brand has pursued a simple objective: to create quality Swiss watches at an affordable price and democratize Swiss Made luxury watchmaking. For this year, the Genevan Manufacture revisits its timeless model with a more modern, stronger, more contemporary design.

Original, timeless aesthetic codes

Just a century ago, in the 1920s - 1930s, watchmaking was breaking free from the round case to invent square and rectangular shapes.

The 36×25.20 mm rectangular case encloses a silvered dial with an equally rectangular minute track, where an independent small seconds is inserted at 6 o'clock. It is set off from the dial by a slight hollow. All around, the hours run in large Roman numerals, along a “sector dial” minute track typical of the Belle Époque. The same is true of their onion crown, a nod to the pocket watches that these wristwatches were slowly beginning to relegate to the back of history.

This version is adorned with a calfskin leather strap with black crocodile pattern.

Mechanism

This timepiece is powered by a quartz caliber. It guarantees over two years of autonomy (25 months). This guarantees perfect precision and lasting peace of mind, so you can wear - or not wear - your timepiece as you please, without worrying about resetting the time.
