A perfect model

This “Bellytanker Bronze Espresso Martini” chronograph in a limited edition of 50 pays a vibrant tribute to the famous cocktail while drawing inspiration from the Belly Tank racers' watches of the 1950s. Its 41 mm-diameter, 13.4 mm-thick case is crafted in “stabilized” bronze, a warm, noble material that evokes the amber hues of Espresso Martini.

As for the dial, it is meticulously crafted to reflect the amber essence of Espresso Martini. Its soleillée finish and brown hue blend perfectly with the case, and we love the gold-plated applied hour-markers and hands. Inspired by the chronograph dials produced by Singer in the 1960s/1970s, Bell & Ross offers a discreet nod to the “Daytona exotic dial” with auxiliary counters subtly transformed into miniature martini glasses. An ultra-curved sapphire crystal protects the whole.

Another subtle detail, a “thirstmeter” replaces the traditional tachometer on the aluminum bezel, adding a touch of humor and sophistication.

Finally, this watch is adorned with a perforated calf leather strap to add a racing edge and that extra gentlemen driver!

The caliber

At the heart of this watch beats the BR-CAL.301 caliber, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement offering a 42-hour power reserve. Functions include hours, minutes and small seconds at 3 o'clock. The date is visible in an aperture at 4:30. The chronograph features a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and chronograph seconds in the center. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it ensures impeccable chronometric precision.
