Inspired by the iconic Oris Aquis instrument, the Clean Ocean Limited Edition, Great Barrier Reef Limited Edition III and Blue Whale Limited Edition models were designed with the respective collaboration of three non-profit organizations with particularly innovative initiatives and ideas. Like Oris, they share the unwavering desire to support the cleaning of the oceans and the safeguarding and protection of its flora and fauna.

The Oris Clean Ocean Limited Edition was created in partnership with Pacific Garbage Screening. This pioneering young organization has developed a unique and ingenious technology to clean up the world's waters. Its ambitious project is to design an autonomous floating platform capable of recovering plastic waste before it reaches the open sea and transforming it into biological products (biodegradable plastics). Anchored in the middle of rivers and estuaries, the structure will collect all plastics using an exclusive process known as “reverse sedimentation” which, with its specific architectural shape and set of fins located underwater, slows down the current to bring waste to the surface for storage and then disposal.

A 39.5 mm Aquis Date

The “Aquis” watch is a true pillar of the ORIS brand, It is a high-performance diver's watch, featuring a 39.5 mm diameter stainless steel case and a unidirectional “aqua” blue ceramic bezel. Water-resistant to 300 meters (30 bars), it is powered by a Swiss Made automatic mechanical movement, which ensures the running of a date window at 6 o'clock.

The hands and indexes, like the “lollipop” second hand, are coated with Super-LumiNova®. The Aquis Date's optimal legibility is revealed in the contrasting blue sunray dial. Thanks to the clarity and luminescence of the information, divers will be able to check at a glance that the watch is working properly and that immersion times are being measured accurately in any situation. An appreciable peace of mind.

Finally, this watch comes with a polished and satin-finished “Oyster” steel bracelet. This bracelet is equipped with a safety folding clasp with push buttons and a buckle extension for diving!

Motor side

Through its numbered steel caseback, we find the Oris 733 movement with its famous red rotor! Designed on a Sellita SW 200-1 base, this automatic caliber beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, offering a power reserve of 38 hours. It features an instantaneous date window at 6 o'clock, as well as a fine adjustment and stop-seconds system.
