Radionavigation in the spotlight

This highly technical watch takes its name from the Radio Compass, the on-board radio receiver that defines an aircraft's position and direction via ground beacons. This providential navigation tool guides pilots in all conditions of visibility. In particular, it enables flights at night, in fog or in the rain.

Readable, graphic display

For the display of the BR 03-92 Radiocompass, the Bell & Ross development teams have faithfully reproduced the graphics of the instrument serving as inspiration.

The matte black dial contrasts with the white graduations arranged in 3 circles. The most central circle houses the hour numerals. This is followed by the minute markers and, finally, the seconds on the flange. A white triangle at 12 o'clock in Super-LumiNova® provides night-time orientation. A little originality: all the numerals are arranged visually. In this case, they are turned towards the center of the dial, as on a navigation instrument.

Specific coloured hands

These pop, almost fluorescent hues contrast with the matte black of the dial. They make reading the time easy and immediate. They also give this watch a playful air. Certain indications on the dial are covered with Super-LumiNova®. At night, the luminescent hour markers take on blue tones, the minutes stand out in green and the hour hand first lights up in yellow, then completes its luminescence in green.
