The model

This version features the iconic black dial and its traditional sand-colored 12-6 numerals, as if patinated by time. This evocation of the past does not prevent the watches from living in their time, thanks to the use of modern materials and watchmaking technologies to combine retro spirit and performance. For example, the diameter of the polished/satin-finished steel case is 41 mm; the pushers and crown are now screwed to reinforce the case's water-resistance; the lugs are rounded to allow a perfect fit for the black rubber strap with a “tropic” look; and the sapphire crystal adopts an ultra-curved shape to recall the style of watches from yesteryear.

The caliber

At the heart of this watch beats the BR-CAL.301 caliber, a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement offering a 42-hour power reserve. It offers hour, minute and small seconds functions at 3 o'clock. The date is visible in an aperture at 4:30. The chronograph features a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and chronograph seconds in the center. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it ensures impeccable chronometric precision.
