Born of the ocean, for the ocean.

This watch takes its features from the 1977 Challenge Diver and is inspired by the crystal blue water and pristine white sand of Long Reef, where the famous watch was found in 1983. Naturally, it has been updated and adapted to the needs of today's world.

This limited edition, the fruit of a meeting between history and innovation, is a true tribute to the legend of the Challenge Diver. Imagine yourself on the beach of Long Reef, the white sand caressing your feet, the sea breeze caressing your hair. It was in this idyllic setting that the Challenge Diver was discovered in 1983, encrusted with shells, like a rare pearl offered by the ocean. Its nickname “fujitsubo” comes from the Japanese word for “shells”

Inspired by this story, Citizen has created an exceptional timepiece. The deep, crystalline blue dial evokes tropical lagoons and translucent waters. Each ray of light that strikes it reveals infinite nuances, as if the entire ocean were captured in a single glance. Embedded in this marine tableau, luminescent indexes and hands guide your way, even in the darkest depths.

The 41 mm-diameter Super Titanium case and bracelet, coated in Duratect Platinum, offer a unique tactile sensation.
