To celebrate these 35 years, Citizen has unveiled this Mechanical GMT limited edition, a pilot's watch featuring a distinctive design inspired by the world of aviation.

The model

This novelty is worthy of Citizen's Promaster collection! With its bold, flat surfaces, the 44.5 mm-diameter case has a strong personality. The screw-down crown ensures excellent water-resistance (200 meters!). The shape of the case-strap junction is inspired by the aerodynamic shape of an aircraft wing. The pilot's helmet engraved on the caseback symbolizes aviation. Such hidden playful touches are one of the charms of this model. We love its “polished/satin-finished” bracelet and black GMT bezel, which offers excellent grip!

On the dial side, it's ultra legible! The massive, robust hands are at the heart of the visual identity. The large luminescent Arabic numerals, baton hour markers and hands form a striking whole. A design that combines style and legibility. We love the little touch of red, allowing the second time zone to be read at a glance.

A GMT Manufacture automatic caliber!

Citizen has a century's experience in watchmaking, and is one of the world's leading watch manufacturers! Its Miyota movements are used by numerous brands around the world. For watchmaking enthusiasts, its products are synonymous with reliability and robustness. Real tractors, able to endure anything!

For this model, Citizen has used a new movement, caliber 0954! This is an automatic movement with 28,800 vibrations per hour and excellent antimagnetic resistance (16,000 a/m). This caliber offers a 50-hour power reserve and a drift of the order of -10 to +20 seconds per day! This caliber also features a stop-seconds function, perfect for accurately setting the time on your watch!

Finally, on the complication side, this Citizen 0954 offers a date as well as a true “GMT”. Indeed, the local time and GMT setting on the 9054 is similar to that of luxury watches with multiple time zones, as the main hour hand is independently adjustable (known as the jumping hour hand), making it easy to change the current time while crossing time zones.
