Born in 1963, this French watch quickly earned a reputation for invincibility. It was the first watch for the general public to be water-resistant to 300 meters. It was designed to meet the demands of diving professionals. Over the years, the Superman has evolved while retaining its original DNA. Its rugged design and exceptional performance have made it a preferred choice for adventurers and lovers of mechanical watches. Adopted by the French Air Force in the 70s to equip helicopter rescue divers, the Superman has left its mark on the history of sports watchmaking. Even today, this mythical model continues to fascinate collectors and watch enthusiasts.

A new bronze version

The Superman Bronze CMM.10 Black Limited Edition is inspired by the Superman of the 1970s. It is equipped with a new Manufacture CMM.10 caliber, developed by Yema, and features a new 39mm-diameter bronze case. It features high quality brushed/polished finishes, preserving a unique neo-vintage look with all the benefits and functions of modern mechanical diving watches. Depending on its use and exposure to weather conditions, the bronze will patina differently, making each watch unique and authentic.

This collector's timepiece is also equipped with a high-quality double-dome sapphire crystal 2.20 mm in height, offering improved legibility, enhanced resistance and a resolutely vintage look.

This version features a sublime black lacquered dial. It is now Frenchized, proudly displaying the MANUFACTURE FRANÇAISE logo at 6 o'clock, to reflect YEMA's new positioning following the internalization of the manufacture of components for the CMM.10 caliber and the local production of the casings. The classic Superman hands have been slightly refined and the iconic “shovel” second hand has been replaced by a lollipop second hand that brings balance to the whole dial with its round hour markers.

The rotating bezel stands out both for its complex design and for the quality of its finish. It is made entirely of bronze, with a circular brushed finish that contrasts elegantly with the vertical brushed finish of the case. This newly manufactured bezel features unidirectional rotation, 0-60 graduation and a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock in Super-LumiNova Grade A (as well as on the hands and indexes), indispensable elements for professional divers.

Finally, the caseback features a sapphire crystal that allows the new Manufacture CMM.10 caliber to be admired in all its glory, as well as preserving a water resistance of 30 BAR (300m). Each case is engraved with a unique serial number and the number corresponding to the Limited Edition.

A manufacture caliber CM.10

The CMM.10 caliber is a manufacture self-winding mechanical movement, composed of 258 parts. It offers a precision of -3/+5 seconds per day, a 70-hour power reserve and resistance to magnetic fields and shocks. The movement is entirely designed and developed by YEMA. The components (bridges and plates) are manufactured directly in the YEMA workshops in Morteau, including assembly, adjustments and controls.

Specifically designed for the Superman Bronze CMM.10, this Tropic integrated bracelet in RUBBER FKM VITON® has been designed for intensive use in all extreme conditions, thanks to its lightweight, extremely supple and dust-resistant VITON® material. The bracelet also features a brushed bronze buckle that will develop the same beautiful patina as the case.
