TAG Heuer and Porsche have much in common, a rich history and a reputation for pushing the boundaries of technology and an obsession with perfection. This global partnership will be illustrated in racing, speed and precision sports, as well as in product development. TAG Heuer unveils its brand-new Carrera Tourbillon Extreme Sport model, available in an all-black tourbillon and a precious gold interpretation, both combining technical sophistication and preciousness in a 44 mm diameter. This new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Ref. CBU5080.FT6272 is the fruit of this exceptional collaboration. Launched in 1963, the Carrera was one of the first iconic lines designed by Jack Heuer, who was captivated by a Mexican road race known as the Carrera Panamerica. He naturally chose this evocative name, which means "race", for his racing chronograph, with its refined, highly legible design.

The rise to power

True to its racing DNA, this TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport is fitted with the Manufacture Calibre TH20-09 automatic movement, made in Switzerland in-house. The black TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Extreme Sport features a forged carbon bezel with grey markings. Optimised for clarity, the case in sand-blasted and brushed grade 2 titanium with a hollowed and grained black PVD side incorporates a receptacle and features two side stretchers, allowing for a harmonious combination of materials. The NAC-coated black skeleton dial features black grained detailing and a black flange with a grey outline, all enhanced by rhodium-plated hour-markers and hands. This model comes with a black rubber strap.
