Immerse yourself in deep waters with the CAP CAMARAT Diver Automatique Noir, a watch that is a harmonious blend of elegance and adventure. Perfect for underwater explorations and everyday urban activities, it combines neo-vintage design with exceptional performance. The 42 mm stainless steel case, with its DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coating, offers unrivalled scratch resistance.
Abyssal temptation
Becoming an emblematic line of the French watchmaking Maison HERBELIN, Cap Camarat is the worthy heir to Michel Herbelin's creations dating back to the 1970s. Named after a cape in the south of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, the collection has now been extended to include an automatic diver's watch. Water-resistant to 200 meters, this vitamin-packed timepiece invites you to immerse yourself in the silence of deep waters without compromising on style. Always neo-vintage, its sporty-chic design makes it easy to adapt to everyday urban life.
A respected DNA
Like its elders, Cap Camarat Diver automatique conjugates, in the present tense, a piece from the 70s of HERBELIN's watchmaking heritage. All stainless steel, subtly alternating vertical brushed and polished facets, the case (42 mm) is also available in a version fully coated with DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon). With diamond-like properties, this material is extremely hard and scratch-resistant. Its hexagonal shape, reinforced by the crown protection, exudes a geometric robustness. Identical in finish, the fixed bezel, adorned with six decorative screws, softens the model's sharp architecture with its roundness.
Protected by a sapphire crystal, the dial features a matte black background. Struck horizontally, it features beveled hour markers and faceted rectangular hour and minute hands. Typical of the 70's with their shape inspired by the original model, they are rhodium-plated and coated with luminescent material to enhance legibility. Discreetly embellished with a double day/date aperture at 3 o'clock that can be adjusted by the screw-down crown at 3:30, the whole gives a precise reading of the time.
The seabed as playground
In keeping with the identifying codes of the Cap Camarat collection, this watch features a bi-directional rotating internal diving flange, adjustable by the screw-down crown at 2:30. Punctuated by a luminescent triangular indicator to visualize dive time, its sand-blasted black background clearly distinguishes a precise graduation of the first 15 minutes, highlighted in vibrant orange to ensure optimal visibility in the darkness of the seabed. Similar in color, the central second hand reveals a Luminova power indicator, a safety measure for checking the working order of the timepiece.
Equally dazzling, the integrated bracelet is also a classic of the watchmaking codes of the time. Made of high-performance FKM elastomer, it is guaranteed for ten years by its extremely resistant material. Raised in the center and cut out on the sides, it has been specifically designed to fit the watchcase while respecting the shape of the existing metal bracelet. Fitted with a pin buckle for easy adaptation to a wetsuit or street wear, it is very pleasant to wear thanks to its great flexibility.
A dive watch "made in France"
Like all HERBELIN timepieces, the Cap Camarat Diver automatic has been designed, conceived, assembled, adjusted and tested in the French brand's workshops, located in the Jura mountains in Franche-Comté. Only the mechanical self-winding movement that powers it is Swiss-made (Sellita), a guarantee of reliability and precision. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and equipped with 26 jewels, it delivers 41 hours of autonomy. Fitted with a HERBELIN-engraved oscillating weight with a honed finish, it can be admired through the transparent caseback.
A perpetuation of the Cap Camarat collection, this new HERBELIN nautical instrument bears witness to traditional French watchmaking expertise, handed down from father to son since 1947. Possessing all the attributes for a prolonged stay in the water, it nonetheless remains at ease in a city environment thanks to its sporty yet chic aesthetics, whatever model is chosen.
