In 1957, an American filmmaker by the name of Peter Viertel landed in France with a surfboard in his luggage, Côte des Basques in Biarritz. The coastal kids, future "Tontons Surfeurs", discovered with him the joys of gliding on the waves of this beach overlooked by a majestic residence, the Villa Belza. Surfing was born. Borrowing its proud name from this timeless icon, the BELZA watch was designed with surfing in mind. With its screw-down crown, silicone bracelet and 200-meter water resistance, it has all the attributes of a watch destined to spend its life in the water...

A model for urban surfers

This Belza offers a sporty, elegant design, making it a timeless fashion accessory perfect for any occasion. It features a 40mm-diameter case with the famous crown invariably found at 4 o'clock. A positioning that avoids damaging the backs of hands during the twists required for the "duck"

The dial of the BELZA Automatique is constructed with the "cross hair" typical of the 70s. It features chiseled solid indexes and a set of wide hands filled with Luminova for optimum night or water reading. This FOREST model is equipped with a sand-blasted green steel dial printed with discreet markings and a light gray railroad track. Its sporty, elegant look makes it a timeless fashion accessory perfect for all occasions. The aperture, encircled by a chased steel window, features a date display with highly retro white numerals printed on a black background, revealing the number 3 in green once a month. The M logo is a finely cut applique, while the BELZA logo is in luminova to glow in the dark.

The bezels of the BELZA Automatiques are built in ceramic, which gives it high scratch resistance and optimal legibility in all circumstances. This bezel rotates on "120 clicks" for precise time measurement while allowing ultra-precise 30-second adjustments. The intertwined lines of March LA.B are chiseled with the utmost precision around the circumference of the bezel. The harmonious whole completes the case's signature construction. On the back of the watch, the caseback is assembled with a gold-colored relief plaque representing the Villa Belza in Biarritz.

Finally, like its watches, March LA.B's bracelets are designed with the utmost attention to detail, the use of the finest materials and the assistance of the best craftsmen, to perfectly match the lugs of our watches. The black silicone strap of this watch is designed to accompany you in all circumstances. It features the elegant lines of our logo along its entire length. Like all March LA.B bracelets, it is interchangeable without the need for tools, as it is equipped with the presto system.

A Franco-Swiss automatic movement

The first movement to emerge from the partnership between the Swiss manufacture La Joux-Perret and the family-owned Humbert-Droz company from Bisonne, the G100 is a new three-hand automatic caliber with date, featuring a handsome 68-hour power reserve and proven architecture. This ultra-precise 24-jewel movement with dimensions of 24.6 mm x 4.45 mm develops a frequency of 4 Hz and 28,800 vibrations.

Equipped with a Stop Seconde, it boasts extreme precision ranging from -4 to +6 seconds per day and offers a 68-hour power reserve more commonly known as "Week-end proof", enabling the watch to run from Friday evening to Monday morning without being worn by its lucky owner. March LA.B positions itself as a pioneer of "horlo-responsibility" with the desire to bring together skills and join forces for a movement 100% machined in Switzerland and 100% assembled in France.
