Founded in 1904 by Paul Cattin and Georges Christian in Hölstein, Oris is an independent brand located in German-speaking Switzerland. The name of this watch manufacturer echoes that of a river near the factory in the Swiss Jura. By being independent, the values of the company are protected and allow the brand to be free to innovate and offer useful functions and features that are sought after by watch lovers. All watches designed by Oris are in line with the Manufacture's credo: "Things must make sense". A desire that drives the company every day to work with the best craftsmen and to implement innovative production processes. As a result, Oris timepieces are of very high quality while offering excellent value for money. Oris is also one of the few Swiss watchmakers that only designs mechanical watches. Indeed, the beauty of a mechanical timepiece comes from its exceptional craftsmanship, an illustration of values and know-how handed down from generation to generation. A spirit, a history and a will that the independent House intends to perpetuate. Since the beginning of the 21st century, the Manufacture has broadened its inspirations and its universes: aviation, diving, motor sports, culture or even environmental protection. The brand is dynamic and innovative. Oris is constantly striving to make better watches, offering new innovative functions and advanced levels of performance. For example, in recent years, the brand has offered Swiss-made automatic movements, such as the Caliber 400, which promises a five-day power reserve, anti-magnetism, a 10-year warranty, and recommended service intervals of 10 years. Big Crown : The brand icon
With a history of over 105 years with the aviation world, Oris is now recognized by aviators around the world for creating innovative, reliable, and high-performance watches. The Big Crown model was first introduced in 1938, and remains one of the company's signature designs today. Its vintage design makes it iconic, and the company continues to improve it with new modern and technical calibers.
Propilot : An avant-garde collection
The Big Crown ProPilot models are distinguished by a form that always serves the function. This collection includes many cutting-edge instruments, both functionally and aesthetically.
ProPilot X : An ode to mechanics
The ProPilot X collection continues a long line of Oris aviator watches dating back to the early 1900s. With its ultra-modern design and high-performance calibers, this line hopes to be the new face of the Manufacture, if not the new icon!
Aquis : The modern dive watch
The Aquis collection offers dive watches with a range of useful features. With its thoughtful design, high-performance materials and numerous functions, this line is sure to appeal to diving enthusiasts.
Divers Sixty Five : A vintage inspired diver
The Divers Sixty Five line pays tribute to the first Oris dive watch released in 1965. Each of these vintage-inspired models has been designed using state-of-the-art production techniques. These watches are available in bronze or steel.
Rectangular : Watchmaking tradition
The Rectangular line refers to the distinctive shape of rectangular cases and perfectly expresses Oris' passion for the watchmaking tradition.
Artelier : Between heritage and innovation
The Artelier line embodies Oris' commitment to heritage and innovation. It is in its workshops in Hölstein that the independent company develops its "in-house" calibers, with a variety of inspirations, which will fit on every wrist whatever the occasion.
