The model

The Windrider collection may not be as well known as the Chronomat, Navitimer and SuperOcean lines, but its bold styling and robust construction earn it a mention in the same sentence. With a diameter of 41 mm, this polished stainless steel watch offers a unique, typically Breitling style.

The watch's exterior is dominated by its "iconic" rotating bezel with its four riders borrowed from the Chronomat. On the subject of borrowings, the large onion-shaped crown is again borrowed from the Chronomat, lending a sense of familiarity that cleverly seduces.

The white dial of this "Cockpit" is simple, uncluttered and unmistakably Breitling, easily recognized by its "guilloché" motif in the center, which is very regularly found on Breitlings from the 2000s. The large luminescent hands, Roman numeral hour markers and its "Grande Date" window at three o'clock set it apart from its competitors.
