Zenith Chronomaster El Primero Classic Cars automatic 42 mm Full Set 2019

The model

Presented in 2016 at the Concours d'Elégance Suisse, this model pays homage to the automotive world, to the exceptional engines and muscular curves of racing and collector cars!

This watch takes its cue from the El Primero 36,000 VHP models of the 2010s, with a brushed steel case measuring 42 mm in diameter and water-resistant to 100 meters. Important elements of its heritage can be found here, with the El Primero DNA still present: the rectangular-tipped lume marker on the seconds hand referring to the mythical A386, but also the overlapping tricolored sub-dials (anthracite, blue and light gray)!

But the most striking thing about this watch is its dial! Indeed, it features a rather unusual "brushed engine" finish. This resembles the "cotes de Genève" lines usually found on the movement plate finish. This specific finish continuously changes the dial color from bronze to anthracite gray, contributing to the watch's sense of refinement and casual elegance. Finally, to measure the speed of one's racing car, there's a peripheral tachometric scale, but also a date window.

Finally, this watch is adorned with a perforated "racing" strap and fitted with a folding clasp.

With its "El Primero Classic Car" name, there's no doubt about the caliber that drives this watch! Indeed, its heart beats to the frantic rhythm of a racing beast, the legendary El Primero movement!

Following in the footsteps of the world's most accurate production chronograph - designed by Zenith in 1969 - the self-winding El Primero 400B caliber perpetuates the strengths of its mythical heritage: its integrated column-wheel construction and exceptional rate of 36,000 vibrations per hour, guaranteeing 1/10th of a second precision and a 50-hour power reserve!

This 2019 Zenith Classic Car is in very good condition. It will be delivered Full Set, with its case and all its documents. This model has been authenticated and checked by our watchmaker and as such benefits from the Lepage Vintage 1-year warranty. It has also been polished and satin-finished in our workshop.
