Inspired by the early creations of the French watchmaking house HERBELIN, the Art Déco collection was created in the late 1970s. Today, it welcomes a new line christened Art Déco 1925's. Coming to blow a fresh wind of French elegance, its elegantly structured allure pays a fine tribute to this French artistic movement that took its full bloom at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, held in Paris in 1925.

In praise of simplicity

Influenced by the Art Deco vocabulary of order, color and geometry, the steel case (37 x 27 mm) boasts an assuredly graphic rectangular shape. Stair-stepped, its geometric rigor is softened by the curved top/bottom sapphire crystal, which delicately rounds off the edge of the case. This watch features an almost monochrome design that exalts an elegance both sober and remarkable.

Its anthracite sunray dial creates a captivating tone-on-tone effect, accentuated by a "chemin de fer" type minute track, faceted square hour markers and distinctive Roman numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock. It reveals stylized faceted hands evolving soberly beneath the watchmaker's signature logo.

Designed for the modern man, this watch features a genuine anthracite leather strap that tapers to the pin buckle to sensually hug the wrist. This strap is treated to evoke the look of alligator.

Powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, the Ronda 751, a guarantee of quality and precision, this Made in France watch was designed, conceived, hand-assembled, adjusted and tested in the HERBELIN workshops.
