The flagship and emblematic collection of the French brand Herbelin, the Newport line is inspired by the marine and nautical universe, and more particularly by the portholes of transatlantic sailing ships. Launched in 1988, the Newport has never ceased to reinvent itself in different variations, but always retains its porthole-style bezel! There's even a marine wheel stamped on the crown, details that adorn every watch in the Newport collection. These models, with their sporty, distinguished design, are an invitation to travel. They are also designed for multiple activities, to accompany you at every moment. DNA respected

Both polished and brushed to emphasize its three-faceted cutout, the steel case features a 42-millimeter diameter and a tapered crown. Discreetly engraved with "Newport" and punctuated with five screws evoking sailboat winches, the bezel, matching the case, reveals a sunray dial.

Adorned with a gradient background, tapered, faceted hour markers are neatly inserted into the minute scale. The whole is traversed by a set of rhodium-plated steel hands, partially covered in luminescent material identical to the imposing indexes, for optimal legibility.

An automatic watch

Water-resistant to 100 meters, this HERBELIN timepiece is dressed in a brown leather strap with white stitching. Cambered in the center and with a folding clasp, it completes its elegance through attention to detail.

This Newport embeds a Swiss-made automatic movement (Selitta SW200) offering 48 hours of power reserve. Made in France for having been designed, conceived, hand-assembled, adjusted and inspected in the HERBELIN workshops located in the Jura mountains of Franche-Comté, this new bolide highlights traditional French watchmaking know-how handed down, from father to son, for over 75 years.
