A sporty-chic design with a poetic dial

Axed and built with practicality and sturdiness in mind, this SBGE305possesses a 40.5mm stainless steel case with a finish alternating between brushed and Zaratsu polished surfaces, typical of Japanese production. Designed to withstand a pressure of 20 bars thanks to its aiming crown, it also boasts a magnetic resistance of 4,800 A/m making this watch a high-performance sportswatch.

The deep red dial of this model is inspired by the morning glow of the rising sun over the mountain peaks of Hotaka - near Japan's Shinshu Watch Studio, birthplace of Spring Drive. The black ceramic bezel recalls the sheer rock face, while the Lumibrite-coated silver hands are protected by a domed sapphire crystal. Standing out against the dark red dial, the silvered GMT hand further enhances the great legibility for which Grand Seiko is renowned.
