Planet Ocean 600M: A now iconic model

Following the launch of the Diver 300M, Seamaster was swept up in a whirlwind of creativity. The early 2000s saw the arrival of several new models that are now considered modern classics. This is particularly true of the very first Seamaster Planet Ocean, unveiled in 2005. It, too, took up many of the codes of the Seamaster 300, but distinguished itself from the other models in the collection - and indeed from all the other watches in the world - by one signature feature: the Co-Axial escapement. With its inspired aesthetics, orange bezel and distinctive helium valve, it immediately became the model that diving enthusiasts loved. As its name suggests, the ocean is its natural environment, and that's up to 600 meters below the surface!

A 43.5 mm diameter version!

This 43.50 mm satin-finish stainless steel model features a satin-finish black ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal™ diving scale.

The dial features a sandblasted "gunmetal" grey galvanized treatment and features a date window at 3 o'clock, as well as beige and white decal words. The OMEGA logo, Arabic numerals, hands and indexes are all in satin-finish PVD-coated stainless steel, while beige Super-Luminova enhances visibility in the dark.

This Seamaster Planet Ocean is mounted on an integrated dark-gray rubber strap adorned with a structured pattern and beige and dark-gray stitching. The sapphire crystal of the NAIAD LOCK caseback is adorned with a metallic seahorse.

A Co-Axial caliber certified Master Chronometer

This watch is powered by Omega caliber 8900, a self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Master Chronometer certified and METAS approved, this watch offers a 60-hour power reserve, precision between 0 and +5 seconds per day and resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss.
