Citizen Tsuyosa Small Second automatic blue dial steel bracelet 40 mm

A real novelty within the Tsuyosa collection!

Japanese Manufacture Citizen has scored a real success with the successful launch of its Tsuyosa collection, which will be available in the summer of 2022! The brand continues to innovate, adding new references that bring real change to the range! More refined, more detailed and more surprising, these new models have the same case as the "old" versions. However, they feature a completely new bracelet with larger polished central links, a new "butterfly" folding clasp and a quick-release system.

And that's not all! The dials are a little less streamlined, as they feature a new small seconds display at 6 o'clock with a new texture thanks to a stamped "guillochage" pattern inspired by the Art Deco era!

A very refined Tsuyosa!

The Tsuyosa collection is part of a long line of sport-chic watches with a very Seventies design, with seductive, curvaceous lines! Its 40 mm steel case alternates between polished and satin-finished surfaces, and its lugs-free design means that the President-style bracelet falls smoothly and naturally on the wrist. This bracelet also boasts a highly detailed finish, with a mix of polished and satin-finished links!

On this new reference NK5010-51L, we find a sublime salmon dial with an "art deco guilloche" finish to great effect! There is also a hint of blue for the small seconds at 6 o'clock. This attractive dial is very pleasing to the eye and is dotted with luminescent indexes and baton hands. Of course, the whole thing is protected by a flat sapphire crystal.

This latest addition to the Tsuyosa collection features a brand new movement, the Manufacture Caliber 8322 self-winding movement. Beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, it offers a comfortable 60-hour power reserve, but most importantly, an attractive finish. Visible through its transparent case-back, its mechanical intimacy is unrestricted, with a multitude of finishes: côtes de Genève, blued screws, openworked rotor... A real step up from the other Tsuyosa caliber, a simple three-hand model! On this caliber, we can note the presence of the stop second, perfect for setting the time precisely on your watch!
