The story
The story of the Ultra-Chron collection began in the late 1960s. At the time, all the Houses wanted to invent a chronometer watch with an ultra-fast and precise movement frequency. Longines succeeded in doing so, and in 1968 launched the Ultra-Chron model, a benchmark at the time. So much so that it was directly used to time the major sporting events of the day.
