The Ref. 844 diver's watch was launched in 1978. TAG Heuer presented a robust yet elegant model that was quickly adopted by professional divers and lovers of the underwater world. We are proud to present the brand's very first solar-powered watch.

Things to remember

At the 2021 edition of the famous Watches and Wonders exhibition, TAG Heuer had already announced the metamorphosis of its Aquaracer collection. New Aquaracer 200 and 300 models appeared, but this year it's a completely different model in the collection. The brand is presenting the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph 34 mm in a very feminine version. You'll love its extremely fine polar blue dial. As its name suggests, this model is equipped with a movement incorporating an innovative solar module, also known as Solargraph. The advantages? You won't need to change your watch's battery - it recharges itself using the sun or artificial light, and just two minutes' exposure to the sun is enough to power it for a whole day. And if it does stop, it's as simple as exposing it to light for 10 seconds, thanks to its ultra-efficient recharging time.

Movement

TAG Heuer has teamed up with the Manufacture La Joux-Perret based in La Chaux-de-Fonds to develop this movement, called Calibre TH50-01. Thanks to its various components, this movement perfectly combines reliability and efficiency. It is developed and manufactured exclusively by the Swiss company.
