Born in 1999, the Highlife collection has left its mark on the history of Geneva-based Frederique Constant. Since its launch, it has embodied the values that have contributed to the brand's success: a faithful design inspired by fine Swiss watchmaking, a high degree of finishing and particular care to offer the fairest price for affordable luxury.

A very seventies design

The Highlife COSC joins a long line of sport-chic watches with a very seventies design, with its seductive, curvaceous lines! Its 39 mm steel case is an unprecedented diameter. It alternates polished and satin-finished surfaces, and its hornless design means that the bracelet falls smoothly and naturally onto the wrist. A special feature of the Highlife collection, the latter is interchangeable, and can be alternated with the second textured leather strap with no tools required.

On this reference FC-303GRS3NH6B, we find a sublime blue dial with a grainy finish. This model is resolutely more vintage than the rest of the collection. That's why the indexes have a cream-colored Super-Luminova, and why the collection's signature, the famous "globe", is not present in the center of the dial.

A COSC-certified caliber

This Highlife therefore embarks the self-winding FC-303 caliber. Based on the Sellita SW200, it beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a comfortable 38-hour power reserve. Most importantly, this caliber has been chronometer-certified by the COSC, as evidenced by the "Certified Chronometer Automatic" inscription at 6 o'clock. This watch therefore offers super precision of -4 to +6 seconds per day.

But this caliber isn't just high-performance. It's also beautifully finished. Visible through its transparent caseback, the timepiece exposes its mechanical intimacy and the finishes dear to the Geneva manufacture, such as Côtes de Genève and circular-graining on the plate, without limit.
